These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of captainstrategy.in (the "Site") and any assessment questionnaires, digital reports, programmes, or advisory services offered through it (together, the "Services"), operated by Captain Strategy, a sole proprietorship based in India ("Captain Strategy", "we", "us", "our").
By accessing the Site or purchasing any Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or purchase any Service. These Terms are governed by the laws of India, including the Indian Contract Act, 1872, and the Information Technology Act, 2000.
Captain Strategy provides online organisational assessment questionnaires with automated digital reports, corporate training programmes, and related advisory services, aimed at corporate professionals working in or with Global Capability Centers (GCCs) and similar organisations. Our reports and programmes are diagnostic and educational tools intended to support decision-making; they do not constitute professional, legal, financial, medical, or psychological advice.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract to use our Services. By using the Site, you represent that you meet this requirement and that any information you provide is accurate and complete.
Where an assessment requires a unique link, Corporate ID, or access code, you are responsible for keeping this confidential. Access is personal to the individual or organisation that purchased it and may not be resold, shared for unauthorised use, or used to circumvent our pricing.
Prices for assessments and programmes are displayed on the relevant product page in Indian Rupees (INR) for customers in India, or in US Dollars (USD) for international customers, inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Payments are processed through our third-party payment gateway partners (Cashfree and/or PayU). We reserve the right to change prices at any time; changes will not affect orders already confirmed.
Upon successful payment and completion of the relevant questionnaire, your report is generated automatically and made available to you digitally, typically immediately or within a short processing window as indicated on the product page. It is your responsibility to answer questionnaire items accurately and completely, as report quality depends on the information you provide.
All content on the Site - including but not limited to the R.E.S.P.E.C.T.™, CCMM™, and BRI™ frameworks, questionnaire design, scoring methodology, report templates, text, graphics, and logos - is the intellectual property of Captain Strategy and is protected under applicable Indian copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, resell, or create derivative works from our Services without our prior written consent.
For individual assessments, your responses and report are private to you. For corporate/group assessments, individual-level responses are kept confidential; only aggregate, anonymised organisational results are shared with the coordinating organisation, as described on the relevant product page.
You agree not to: (a) use the Site or Services for any unlawful purpose; (b) attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or another user's data; (c) reverse-engineer, scrape, or misuse our questionnaires, scoring logic, or reports; or (d) misrepresent your identity or organisational affiliation when purchasing or completing an assessment.
The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we take reasonable care in designing our assessments and reports, we do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any report, score, or recommendation will be suitable for every organisational context. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Captain Strategy's total liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall not exceed the amount actually paid by you for the specific Service giving rise to the claim. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunity, arising from your use of the Site or Services.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site or Services, without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms. You may stop using the Services at any time; this does not entitle you to a refund except as set out in our Refund Policy.
Payment processing is handled by Cashfree and/or PayU, whose own terms of service and privacy policies govern their handling of your payment information. Captain Strategy is not responsible for any errors, delays, or issues that arise solely from the payment gateway's systems, subject to our obligation to assist in resolving payment-related issues in good faith.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
